Purchases & gems
Life Empire contains optional in-app purchases. Payment happens only in the game through Apple. You cannot buy anything on this website, and we do not ask for payment details here.
How a purchase works
- In the game, choose an offer under Phone › Credit. What it gives you is shown before you buy.
- Apple's purchase dialog shows the price and asks you to confirm. Apple handles the payment; we receive no payment data.
- Our server verifies the purchase with Apple and credits it to your account – even after a crash or on a new device.
Purchases need an internet connection and a game account.
What is available
You see the prices in the App Store and in Apple's purchase dialog. They can differ by country.

All purchases are consumables: the contents go into your save or your gem account. A new game starts without the contents of earlier purchases; gems stay with your account.
Gems
- Gems are purple crystals, the game's second currency. They are stored on our server with your account and do not expire.
- You also get gems without buying: from the daily bonus, daily and weekly event goals, event wins, new reputation levels and season rewards.
- With gems you pay, for example, for helpers when things get tight (hired staff, extra workshop and dealership spaces, rental trucks), the offline bonus, the bargain bonus, a new company branding or logo wraps for your cars. What an offer does and for how long is shown in the game before you buy.
- No randomness for money: packs have fixed amounts, and for bundles it is fixed in advance what you get. The bargain bonus raises the chance of cheap new listings for a limited time; the exact probability is shown in the offer.
- Gems and in-game money have no value outside the game. They cannot be exchanged for real money or transferred to other accounts.
Optional ad videos
Instead of gems, you can get the offline bonus by watching ad videos: 4 hours for one video, 8 hours for two videos, at most one bonus a day. This is optional and free; you start every video yourself. There are no banners or interstitial ads. How we handle data for this is described in the privacy policy.
If something is missing
Restart the game with an internet connection and check that you are signed in to the right account. Please don't buy the same pack again. If the credit is still missing, contact us in the game under Phone › Help › Purchase problem or via the help page. Never send us passwords or full payment details.
Refunds
- Purchases in the App Store are sold by Apple. You therefore request a refund from Apple: https://reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple reviews the request and decides; we cannot refund payments ourselves.
- If Apple refunds a purchase, we are informed automatically and reverse the contents: gems and in-game money are deducted, cars and staff from bundles are taken back. If something has already been used up, a negative balance is created and offset against later gems or income. The game shows you a message each time.
- The Starter Pack still counts as bought after a refund.

- Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

On the iPhone, purchases can be blocked with Screen Time or tied to a purchase request with Apple's Family Sharing. More under Parents & age rating.
